Bastian Bentrup, a former healthcare professional, transitioned his career focus towards Urbanistik at Bauhaus-University in Weimar in 2020. Having previously worked with patients dealing with addictive behaviors, his academic interest now centers on exploring addictive behaviors within urban environments.

Alongside his studies, he pursues a passion for urban landscape photography and photography in general, which complements his academic pursuits. Currently preparing for his bachelor's thesis, Bastian continues to delve into these areas of interest, combining practical experience with academic research.
