Foto Podcast is photography podcast by thefotoapp founder Michael Howard featuring interviews with photographers, artists, cultural thinkers, and technologists. The 2nd episode of the Foto Podcast features photographer Deanna Dikeman.

Dikeman is based out of Kansas City, Missouri, and released a photo book titled Leaving and Waving in 2021. Her work has been exhibited in Europe and across the United States and has been featured in the New Yorker, New York Times, Harper’s Magazine, and more. Leaving and Waving was a finalist for the 2021 Paris Photo/Aperture Foundation First PhotoBook Award. She has been awarded numerous grants and fellowships. Her photographs are also found in museum collections such as the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri.
