In the latest edition of the Hackney Urban Survey workshop series, organized by MASS COLLECTIVE, photographers of all skill levels are invited to collectively document the layers that constitute the East London borough of Hackney. The workshop will feature talks, practical photography sessions, collective reviews, and will be followed by a flash exhibition, showcasing the results of the one-morning photography session. The exhibition not only showcases the visual narratives captured during the workshop but also serves as a collaborative space for collective editing, sequencing, and printing. The workshop is specifically designed for photographers of all skill levels, with a cap of 15 participants.

What sets this workshop apart is its focused examination of Hackney's bustling infrastructure—a network of roads, canals, and railways that shape the borough's distinctive character. Participants can expect a day filled with enlightening talks, hands-on photography sessions, and collective reviews, with each workshop adding a new dimension to the collective narrative. For students with an active student card for the current academic year, a student concession is available.
