On Self-Publishing & Print Portfolios w/ Antony Sojka
I sat down with Berlin based documentary photographer Antony Sojka to talk about his latest journey from China to Inner Mongolia, some of his current & past projects, and the importance of self-publishing photo books and print portfolios. Unfortunately Instagram wouldn’t allow me to save the 1h long first part of our talk, so this is only the 22 minute long second part.
Antony Sojka is a Berlin based freelance photographer focussed on portrait, travel and documentary photography. He studied at OSTKREUZ School for Photography and graduated in 2013 under the supervision of Sibylle Fendt, Ludwig Rauch and Werner Mahler. His work Tide was awarded the “DIMA Emerging Artist Award – Most Inspiring Image” at the PDN Photo Annual in 2014 in New York City and his series 1000 Minutes about the Boetzow Brewery is part of Prof. Hans Georg Naeder’s private collection and was awarded the 3rd place for best work in an exhibition curated by Rudolf Kicken.
